Dr. Sanjay Chaudhary is a Professor at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, India. His research areas are Distributed Computing, Service-Oriented Computing, Multicore architectures and Programming, and ICT Applications in Agriculture. He has authored four books and a number of book chapters. He has published a number of research papers in international conferences, workshops and journals including IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC), International Conference on Services Computing (SCC), Asia-Pacific Service Computing(APSCC), Asia Pacific Software Engineering Conference (APSEC), ACM Compute, International Conference on Contemporary Computing (IC3), COMmunication System softWAre and MiddlewaRE (COMSWARE), International Conference on Advanced Computing & Communications (ADCOM), International Conference on Innovations in Information Technology, International Workshop on Innovative Internet Community Systems (I2CS), International Workshop on Distributed Event-Based Systems (DEBS), International Workshop on Semantic and Dynamic Web Processes (SDWP), and others. He has served on many program committees of International conferences and workshops including Web Services track of International World Wide Web Conference Committee (IW3C2), International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM), IEEE World Congress on SERVICES 2009, Workshop on Dynamic and Declarative Business Processes, International Conference on Computer Modelling and Simulation, International Workshop on Semantic and Dynamic Web Processes (SDWP), and others. He is also a member of review committees of leading journals.

Two PhD candidates have completed PhD thesis under his supervision in the year 2008 and another Ph.D. candidate has submitted PhD thesis under his supervision in the year 2009. He holds a doctorate degree in computer science from Gujarat Vidyapeeth. More than fifteen students have completed M.Tech theses under his supervision. Prior to joining DA-IICT, he worked with Gujarat University. He has worked on various large-scale software development projects for corporate sector, co-operative sector, and government organizations in India and USA. He is actively involved in various consultancy and enterprise application development projects.
