Dr. Vijay Kumar Chakka Research Group

Dr. Chakka.  Vijay Kumar is currently working as Associate Professor at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, Gandhinagar.  He is also a Adjunct Associate professor at IIT Gandhinagar . Currently he is secretary to the IEEE communication chapter of IEEE Gujarat section.

 He pursued his B.Tech from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad and M.Tech in communication engineering from REC (Kurukshetra). He pursued his Ph.D. from REC, Trichy. Before joining DA-IICT, he worked as a Senior Lecturer at REC, Trichy.

He has over 16 years of teaching experience in Electronics and Communication.  He has published 50 International Journal/ conference articles in the area of signal processing and Wireless communications.  He has guided more than 50 M.Tech theses and   currently 4 PhD students working under him. He is working as consultant for DRDO, NSTL Vizag   and many private companies in the area of Digital Signal Processing and Wireless Communication.
